[Bug] Interface language changed from Hebrew to Arabic after updating to version 11.1.0.0

Note

First of all, thank you for the great work on AutoDarkMode — I’ve been using it for quite a while and it’s been working perfectly.

I encountered an issue after updating to the latest version.
I was using AutoDarkMode with the interface language set to Hebrew.
Today, I received a notification about a new version, so I opened the AutoDarkMode Shell and updated the app from version 11.0.0.50 to 11.1.0.0.

After the update completed and AutoDarkMode restarted, I noticed that several parts of the user interface that were previously displayed in Hebrew are now shown in Arabic.
I didn’t make any manual changes to the language settings — this change happened automatically after the update.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install AutoDarkMode version 11.0.0.50.
2. Set the interface language to Hebrew.
3. Update the app to version 11.1.0.0 using the AutoDarkMode Shell.
4. Observe that parts of the interface are now displayed in Arabic.

Expected Behavior

The application language should remain Hebrew after updating, as it was before the update.
Instead, the interface partially switched to Arabic, which seems unintended.

Nope, there actually is Arabic text in the Hebrew resource files. So that means a translation issue

Have a look at https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/auto-dark-mode/app/he/ to see. If you are able to fix the translations, that would be very welcome!

Besides that, we (or I) have indeed changed code to detect language. The text for how that setting is saved, is also changed, so that is why the old setting is not used. Can you tell what the App Language is in Windows Settings? And show what language does ADM actually try to use in settings?

I think in that case I don't think it's related to your language switch code.

Well, because the old format (equal to the UI text) in the settings file is no longer read, that does mean #BreakingChange. Might be worth to add to the release notes 😇

We've pulled some weblate changes since then, I guess that's why it shows up now, but as you said it's probably a translation error

About the Arabic text in the resources: looks like this he file was created when we started the winui3 branch. It looks like a copy-paste situation. Note that Hebrew was not available in ADM X. See this a6a3e70#diff-d7128a4e1c3dc35a1a3b3c8d4ef653b89132c0c1cab68a14312b7493425840e4

I have version 11.0.0.54 right now and I cannot find any Hebrew text in the UI 🫣
