Description

Mission:
Create DevMicro.app, a browser-based developer micro-OS leveraging the open-source Puter framework.

Purpose:
Transform any computer into a local-first, network-accessible development environment. DevMicro.app runs a lightweight Node.js microserver ("MyWin") and provides a full GUI dashboard accessible over Wi-Fi.

Foundation:

  • Fork or wrap Puter's open-source OS as the base.
  • Rebrand and extend it with DevMicro.app's networked architecture and developer-focused features.

Core Enhancements:

  • LAN Dashboard Access: Host discoverable on local Wi-Fi (Bonjour/ZeroConf).
  • Database Core: SQLite or internal JSON DB for configs, system states, and user data.
  • API/Agent Integration: Each dashboard app icon represents a dev tool, agent, or API container.
  • Chromecast & Mobile Friendly: Full-screen casting support and adaptive layout for mobile/TV.
  • Developer Focus: Built-in console, file manager, code runner, and terminal access.

Tech Stack Recommendation:

  • Backend: Node.js + Express (MyWin microserver)
  • Frontend: React + Tailwind (Puter-compatible UI)
  • Network: WebSocket + Bonjour discovery
  • Database: SQLite / local JSON

Goal:
DevMicro.app is a modular, local, networked, castable micro-OS for modern developers. Your rig becomes the cloud.
