How to start creating complex apps/projects?

Hi, I want to improve my coding skills by creating projetcs since I've only been doing basic console apps, which makes me feel as if I'm stuck. I've tried to create projects by my own but it just feels overwhelming and I'm not even sure on how to begin with, every time I tried I end up abandoning the project completely without really doing any real progress and it's starting to get frustrating.

Any tips on how to tackle programming projects will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i think the best thing to do is make features and find ways to bring them together seamlessly, not realy aiming for complexity but combining multiple things in a new way
