Modifying Date property

Hi! I wonder is it possible to modify the property of the type Date using the value in another property.
The idea is to build recurring task manager. I got Regular property and I set it 2, for example. It means the task repeats every 2 days. Then I hit done and it changes the Due property adding 2 days to the current value (or just current date - it's not essential). The major thing here is to make a button which would initiate that modifying process. Thanks!
