Question: final page of an epub?

I guess this could apply to most content types, but my problem is specifically with epubs. Is there a way to figure out when you're on the final displayed page of an epub? Publication.pageList could be used in most cases to get really close at least, but not all books have that set.

Just want to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Not out of the box with the Readium toolkit. It's a complex problem: What is the last page? You mentioned a possible solution with pageList for the EPUB with a print page list, but it could also be the last page of the last resource (including indexes). Ideally, depending on the use case, we would want the last page of actual content, but there is nothing available for that in EPUB (excluding landmarks that could be used to infer something, but without a 100% guarantee).

So at the moment, this is an exercise left to implementers to determine the exact strategy they need.

Thanks for the answer! The last page of the last resource is good enough for my use, so I ended up going with a combination of the page indexes in the onPageChanged() callback in EpubNavigatorFragment.PaginationListener and checking whether the included Locator is on the last resource of the book. This doesn't work for fixed layouts though, where I just then check whether we're on the last resource, since those seem to be directly mapped to pages.
