Correct way to type values_list with related_id

Hello, what is the correct way to type values_list with related_id?

for example

user.projects.values_list('author__organisation_id', flat=True)
It shows that it's an QuerySet[Project, Any], but it's not a project's ids, it's an organisation's ids.

It still is a QuerySet[Project]. The fact that these ids represent something else cannot be represented in the type system better than they are int. However, it should probably have inferred QuerySet[Project, int] since doing .first() should return an int

qs = user.projects.values_list('author__organisation_id', flat=True)
type(qs.model)    # Project
type(qs.first())  # int

No worries, just out of curiosity (and because I think we can improve if the type was inferred as QuerySet[Project, Any] and not uerySet[Project, int])), could you give me a bit more context on you model structure ?

is .projects from a reverse ForeignKey with custom related_name of from a ManyToManyField ?
