Add Command to Search YouTube Video Information

Overview

This Pull Request introduces the VideoSearch command, which searches and retrieves YouTube video information from a list of IDs or URLs (or from a CSV file containing URLs/IDs) and generates a CSV file with the video information.

Features

  • VideoSearch Command: Handles the extraction of YouTube video information.
  • Enhanced Execute Method: Supports fetching information from both IDs and URLs.

Usage

To use the new VideoSearch command:

  1. Using IDs:
python cli.py --api_key <api_key> video-search --ids <id1> <id2> --output-file-path <output_path> --full-info
  1. Using URLs:
python cli.py --api_key <api_key> video-search --urls <url1> <url2> --output-file-path <output_path> --full-info
  1. Using an Input CSV File:
python cli.py --api_key <api_key> video-search --input-file-path <input_csv_path> --output-file-path <output_path> --full-info

Additional Details

  • Output CSV File: The generated output CSV file will contain either simplified or full video information based on the --full-info flag.
