Some notes from the call + @valeriechiang for additional:

  • Instead of using time(), I recommend using the job.result()['metadata'] for QPU time etc
  • Please go into deeper detail into results analysis. This reads a bit like Quantum Advantage, this needs to be a more nuanced and detailed take (+ @miamico, @nathanearnestnoble technical review)
  • I'd recommend going into greater detail on how num_learners and regularization impact result quality vs QPU usage (or other metric). I think it's worthwhile showing multiple results across several configurations to help users understand how to configuration

Additional notes from the call:

  • Use backend type instead of name (ie. Eagle r3)
  • More background (link to papers, equations, why you should care about this problem, etc.)
  • Remove pip install cell
  • 4 step format alignment (ie. Step 1: Map classical inputs to a quantum problem)

Everything else was covered by @pandasa123

Timeline:

  1. Next draft by EOW
  2. Review and copy-editing
  3. Publish tutorial by QDC (hopefully earlier for signed out experience)

…, rename step 1, remove time, add analysis for results, add different configurations to run and analyze
